The novel & characters. How long did it take to write the book? From the time I first got the idea, I worked on it about four years.

The novel & characters. What inspired you to write the story? I had been moving in this direction ever since the Indiana Jones movies and Romancing the Stone were popular. About the time I had decided to write in the mystery genre, I watched a slide lecture on Mount St. Helens. I anticipate the next one taking closer to two years. I did a lot of background work on Torrie, her family and background, and potential locales before starting, so many of the elements of the next novel are pre-established. Does the novel really fit the mystery genre?

by Jeanette F. Chaplin. In an obscure canyon of that devastated terrain, a unique strain of Fireweed is growing.

by. Jeanette F. Mount St. Helens: 1986. THE MOON hung listlessly in the mid-morning skyóa translucent gauze echo of the full brilliance it had displayed the previous night. A lone hiker scrambled to gain footing on the loose pumice of the barren landscape surrounding the dozing volcano. A check of the watch indicated three hours into the hike. Straight ahead lay the shattered remnant of the summit of the volcano.

Jeanette Winterson’s novels have established her as one of the most important young writers in world literature. The Passion is perhaps her most highly acclaimed work, a modern classic that confirms her special claim on the novel. Set during the tumultuous years of the Napoleonic Wars, The Passion intertwines the destinies of two remarkable people: Henri, a simple French soldier, who follows Napoleon from glory to Russian ruin; and Villanelle, the red-haired, web-footed daughter of a Venetian boatman, whose husband has gambled away her heart.

Charles Chaplin was such an artist and his extraordinary career is a stunning testament to both his own genius and to. .Writen by one of the best actors, in all times, Charles Chaplin, this book talks about not just a life, but also about a time. I read many surprises, in this book.

Charles Chaplin was such an artist and his extraordinary career is a stunning testament to both his own genius and to the development of that unique popular art form-the cinema. How good is to live today, is the main lesson that I learn, when I read a good auto-biography, such as this.
