I loved Arthur Lyons in the 80's, and enjoy re-reading his books today Other Peoples Money is very good but not 1st rate ( like Killing Floor, The Dead Are Discreet and others ) by a past master of the LA noir genre. A good example of typical, very good 80's writing but not the quality of T Jefferson Parker during that era, and now, or Michael Connelly, Walter Mosley, and Robert Crais for that matter.
