If your class makes you read this book, easiest thing to do is not take the class. Seriously all the stuff in this book is things you should know if you are in business. Somehow Kuratko managed to spew things on a page and make people buy it. It's written like a sophomore in high school for his English paper.

THANKS GREAT BOOK

formulaic junk. Lots of stuff you already know BS'd into academic format like it's new information. Overly formal methods that slow down the innovative process. If you're a complete idiot and unable to think innovatively at all, then maybe this would be marginally helpful to you. But, any college level student should slam dunk this thing and move on.

Good examples in the back, good questions, book is well laid-out. Excellent case studies - not the normal HBR ones students can just web search and get answers for -
