Wow, what can I say that will do this book justice. I picked it up on Tuesday, and was finished with it by Wednesday morning. It is truly too good to put down! The insights in the book are current and have a profound impact in today's world. The book addresses many important and complex issues but presents them in an easy to understand fashion that reads like a story.

I highly recommend this to anyone who is concerned about confronting the problems our country faces!

As a long time listener of Neal's radio program; "Truth for America" and his blog "NealAsbury.com", I have been eagerly anticipating his first foray into the published world.

Neal is gifted with the ability to give an uncompromising viewpoint; boldly standing up for what he feels is right. This is a quality that I respect in him, and obviously others feel the same way, as evidenced by the quality of guests he has had on his show, Senator Marco Rubio, Dr. Eric Wargotz, Chief Billie of the Seminoles, Congressman Phil Roe, etc. Neal has a clear vision of how our economy needs to be corrected and how the way to start this correction begins with focusing on international trade.

The book itself is a pretty insightful read. Neal relates some of his personal experiences and draws parallels from our past to bring attention to current issues/events. Neal does a good job of approaching the situations that he comments on in a non-partisan manner, meaning that even if you don't agree 100% with his politics, you will not be turned off by his words.

The real reason to read this book is that Neal is an interesting guy! Neal has been involved with international trade for over 30 years. During those 30 years, Neal has had some interesting adventures, including the threat of kidnapping in SE Asia! A good read for a great price.

From the moment I started reading Conscientious Equity, I could not put the book down.

The chapter that I found most important and profound is Mr Asbury's, "The one piece of legislation responsible for all the world's

ills". The creation of the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act following the great depression caused a tailspin and spiraled the American economy

into a decline.

Mr. Asbury leads us through The Roosevelt years with great clarity and explains in layman's terms How the Marshall Plan helped our

economy after World War 2.

When the U.S. went off the gold standard during the Nixon years, it was then that paper money was no longer backed by gold.

This timely and accurate book has brought light to a subject that has been long misunderstood.

In the chapter, "Stopping the pendulem forever", Mr Asbury explains how we can correct our trade deficit.

This book should be required reading for every student.....our future voters.

My Christmas presents this year will be copies of Conscientious Equity.

There are many outstanding features of Neal's book; I particularly enjoyed the numerous stories that are both a bit funny and eye-opening at the same time.
Above all else though; what made reading the book so enjoyable for me at least; is the fact that when I finished it, I felt truly empowered!
That each of us can make a difference in the world and that collectively; using our very own American market-place, we can create a better world.
Neal was able to take quite complex issues and lay them out in an easy to understand manner which critically resulted in a CLEAR and DECISIVE way forward.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a fresh perspective AND SOLUTIONS to some very old social and economic problems.

I am enjoying this book tremendously, the narrative is engaging, it presents major world issues and inequities in such way that everyone can relate to and be motivated by.
It challenges to take action and and live up to our responsibilities in social issues and to build a better future for future generations.
The short stories are fascinating, told in a humorous way, and are the perfect ingredient to impulse peoples curiosity to learn about other cultures . I shared those with my 14 year old who is very intrigued about foreing cultures , he enjoyed those as much as i did.

Should be read by every person in Congress, and required in college. A thought provoking, important book that zeroes in on current issues in international trade that are having a vital impact on us all. Asbury has a deep understanding of history with a unique perspective from his years as an accomplished international entrepreneur. The book is so engaging due to the relevance of the concept of "conscientious equity" to our current situation. The interesting and touching personal experiences that pervade the book help to make it such a tremendously insightful read!
