This text book was required for my college course. While the material is complicated, the authors did a fairly well job of putting it together. Sometimes I get lost in the numerous details and lose sight of the big picture of each chapter. I appreciate the tables and charts in each chapter. 2 people found this helpful.

No need to wait for office hours or assignments to be graded to find out where you took a wrong turn.

Mr.Bean
It didn't have what I was looking for. I was a desperate grad student looking for easy explanations.

It takes 3 CPAs also PHDs to write the lousiest text book I had ever used. It is poorly writen, it lacks of consistency in the explanations. I can't believe how much the word however is used in the same paragraph. If this was a english composition fianl project I would give F to the authors. Chapter after chapter I get more frustated about this book.

Used for one of my classes. Found mistakes in the text, which confused me, but knowing that there are newer, updated versions, I cannot be too mad. Professor likes the older version. Other than that, it helped me through exams.

This book is poorly written. Unless you know Non-profit accounting, it is not written so that you will learn anything. I'm assuming professors use this book because of the Smithville case and for no other reason. Honestly, I do not feel the Smithville case goes along with the book very well. The authors should have exchanged notes a little more. Unless it is required or you are already working in non-profit accounting, I would not buy this book.

I purchased this book to study for the FGFOA exam and have found it to be an outstanding reference. The book is very readable and covers many critical areas in governmental accounting and finance. Its well worth the cost.

The book was heavily highlighted and underlined although the seller (Super Book Services) claimed otherwise. This is the first time I have been lead astray by the claims for books I have purchased
via your site but I will be more careful in the future.
Although the item took some time to receive; they did refund the shipping costs. I found it to be an unnecessary gesture, but it was well appreciated. Item was in great condition.
