I am a nurse practitioner expanding into cardiology. One of the cardiologist I work with recommended I buy this book. It is awesome! It's not be read cover to cover, but it is an excellent reference for looking up concepts and learning them. I'm a visual learning and the photos are very explanatory and clear.

Not as good as when Dr. Braunwald did it all by himself, but still the best Cardiology textbook on the market.

bought it used, but great condition. The book itself is good if you planning to do cardiology or are already doing cardiology.
Not a general internal medicine book!

good book
Braunwald's Heart Disease is the bible or the basic book in cardiology, and I agree with Cardiologist and other doctors who recommended to me. It's as complete as you can imagine, and you won't believe how simple to read it is, so easy to understand, so clear, and honestly you can find anything, literally anything about cardiology on this book. It's so much worth it. It's updated and honestly I believe it's one of the basic books every medicine student should have.
