The first exam given is very thorough, while going to the second and third it teeters off in both clarity and substance. Though I would recommend a used copy of this book, by far paying the full 34.99 is a bit of a stretch. The one thing that continually ticked me off was the GRAMMATICAL ERRORS and TYPOS. There was even one explanation where the "correct" answer choice was the wrong one while giving the right answer choice in the explanation. VERY annoying. If you can get past those parts I would still recommend this book, but shame on powerscore for their shoddy work.

This is one of the few LSAT review books that I had found very helpful.
Broke things down & explained them step by step.
A must have for all that are getting ready for the LSAT.

Previously I purchased all of the PowerScore Bibles for the LSAT. While I was already scoring in the 160s, their methods have helped me become more confident and consistent. I now score in the 170s on every practice test. I haven't had the opportunity to dig into this book yet, but based on past experience I'm sure it will be great.

This book, published by Powerscore, contains the 3 LSATs administered in 2004 and comes with comprehensive and detailed solutions to each test.

The solutions are 90-120 pages long and give you great insight into how to answer these questions efficiently and accurately. The explanations tell you why each right answer is right and why each wrong answer is wrong. And it's detailed too. They don't just give you a one-liner like "no, out of scope". There's usually a paragraph explaining why the wrong answer is wrong and should be eliminated.

After doing the tests, it's worth reading the entire solutions to questions you got right as well as wrong answers because you start to think like an LSAT question writer and see where they are trying to trick you and how to avoid these traps.

LSAC's own Superprep is also an outstanding resource in this regard.

It's too bad no company publishes solutions sets this detailed on a regular basis.

In my opinion this book, along with the PowerScore Deconstructed book for the Dec. 2006 LSAT, is a must, especially if you've gone through all three PowerScore Bibles. Everything you learn from the Bibles is applied in the Deconstructed series. Great explanations are provided to give you an understanding of what to look out for in wrong and right answers. Some of the hardest/somewhat controversial Logical Reasoning questions are found in these PTs, so it provides very lengthy explanations that are extremely helpful. I doubt you can find any other resource that gives as clear and detailed explanations for those questions as this book can. Also, if you buy this book (this is completely up to you), there is no need to purchase the individual 2004 PTs that are covered here because each PT is provided before the explanations.

The only annoyance is that are a few typos here and there. For example in the explanations, it will say the correct answer is B (when it is actually E), but in the following explanations it will list E as the correct answer. If you have trouble telling which really is the correct answer, then maybe it is a good idea to buy the individual PTs to get the answer key. But you can probably easily get the answers somewhere else.

I have read the PowerScore Logic Games Bible and the PowerScore Logical Reasoning Bible and both were extremely helpful to me. I have been preparing for the upcoming June LSAT and I needed help increasing my score. With these books my score has already gone up 10 points! The 2004 LSATs Deconstructed was very helpful as well. It walked me through an entire LSAT with very clear and detailed explanations. I would highly recommend this book.

LSAT deconstructed was the perfect self-study guide. I took the practice tests, pinpointed my weaknesses, and found the best approach to the different types of questions. -Whit Remer
This book is EXACTLY what I needed. The explanations are written in a very clear and easily understood manner. This book is really what made the LSAT "click" for me.
