I am trying to become a professional poker player. This book has given me a great start and helped me convert to playing online poker for money in a few days. My only criticism is that some of the illustrations are in too low resolution, they are not legible - especially the cartoons.

Great book, it would be a five if the illustrations were nicer.

I've read several introductions to hold'em over the years, and frankly I found most of them confusing.

"No-limit Texas Hold'em for Winners" has been a very pleasant surprise.

It's been easy to read. The subject matter is presented in a sensible order, and the advice has been more understandable than in any of the other poker books I've read.

Heartily recommended.
