It's undeniable that millions of students are investing record-levels of time and money only to come away unprepared to face the challenges of our increasingly complex society. The book is beautifully put together; organized into highly-readable chapters each touching on a different aspect of what and how Minerva teaches and how they intentionally built a new university for the 21st century from the ground up. Their clear goal is to create the wise and capable leaders and global citizens that the world desperately needs to build a better world.

The British Parliament is divided into two houses, and its members belong to one or other of them, although only members of the Commons are normally known as MPs (Member of Parliament). The Commons is by far the more important of the two houses. The House of Lords consists of over 1000 non-elected members. The system of local government is very similar to the system of national government. There are elected representatives, called councillors – the equivalent of MPs.

I ordered this book to get to know the government before I studied abroad in London without looking at the date of publication. This sixth edition was published in 1986. I didn't end up reading it because it was so outdated so I'm not actually sure how good it is. However, considering how quickly and often laws and governments change, I would suggest you find a newer book.
