The art work is fantastic, the quoted captions from Catlin are wonderful, The additional notes from Hassrick disputing some of the contents of Catlins notes were a shock. Hassrick was not even born when Catlin toured the West and captured forever paintings of the majestic Native American Indians. Without Catlin's art and detailed note taking, so much would have been lost. I recommend it for Catlin's art and notes, period.
