A compilation of the authors adventures while working, living and experiencing
all that Alaska has to offer. Adventures from the interior to the coastline. The
author has a unique writing style that made this book for me. Alaskan adventures
with a regular humorous twist will make you smile and laugh out loud at times. From
hiking to kayaking and from the fast paced lower 48 life to a homesteading in the
49th, this book follows the author as he is bound to Alaska and what it has to offer.

I felt inspired to purchase this book after your chance appearance in a Youtube video. What was intended to be a quick joke soon grew into conversation, and Mike's personality and stories fascinated me. I've never seen someone so willing to delve into small-talk and pull something deep out of there. As far as the book goes, I'm pleased more and more as I read, it's really an amazing book! Very descriptive and personalized. May just be a masterpiece...

I watched the youtube video about his book and felt like I had to buy one. I just got it in the mail today. I am only 2 pages in but it is already so full of sensory detail I could imagine I were in the scenes he is describing. The best part is, he even autographed it! I am excited to read through the whole thing. Thanks mike

I found this book very dull, some rich kid who thought he did it though at times and relied on women to support him
