Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen, the author and illustrator of the Magic School Bus books, have collaborated for twenty years, bringing humor and true kidlike curiosity to science and learning. Booklist heralded Ms. Frizzle as "the wackiest, wisest teacher in picture books. Two MSB titles have been named School Library Journal Best Books of the Year, and they have won countless state book awards, from New York to Nebraska. My class gives it an A++!

As I always say class, you're out of this world!"- Ms. Frizzle. Gets Lost in Space" is the series premiere of the animated children's series The Magic School Bus. It originally aired on PBS on September 11th, 1994. Frizzle's class is constructing a model of the solar system. Arnold's cousin, Janet, can't wait to witness one of their "highly unusual" field trips. She is not impressed and immediately begins taunting them in how she and her class are far more superb.

Book in the The Magic School Bus Series). See The Magic School Bus as you've never seen it before-in 3-D Mrs. Frizzle's exciting tour to the solar system will be even more dramatic when rendered in 3-D. Each book will include school bus themed 3-D glasses.

The Magic School Bus Explores the Solar System" is the first software game developed based on the "Magic .

The Magic School Bus Explores the Solar System" is the first software game developed based on the "Magic School Bus" series ("The Magic School Bus Explores the Human Body" was released the same year. In the game, Ms. Frizzle is lost as soon as the bus flies off into space and the goal of the same is to locate her using the clues she provides. The Friz's hiding place varies from game to game.

The field trip to the planetarium is foiled when the museum turns out to be closed, but Ms. Frizzle saves the day. The Magic School Bus turns into a spaceship and takes the class on a trip zooming through the atmosphere, to the Moon, and beyond! With up-to-date facts about the solar system, revised for this edition.

A fun story that follows the first episode of the first season of MSB pretty closely, but the extra factual information/dialogue in the margins make it hard to read to ages 4-6 (especially if they suspect you're leaving something out!). It might be more enjoyable for ages 9-10, who can benefit from that info and can read at their leisure.

This was a gift for our grand kids. Their mom says "The Magic School Bus" is a popular series on TV, which I didn't know. The book has apparently been a big hit because of the familiar characters and storyline, and also because of their interest in the solar system! If you like this one, there are others in the series.

We are big fans of the Magic School Bus series. These books are packed full of information. It's not a book you'll sit and get all the way though at once though. I take that back, maybe with an older child you could. Our 3 year old doesn't sit for the whole book but we enjoy a few pages at a time. Each page has loads to read and discuss. Pictures are fun too.

My first and still favorite Magic School Bus book! It goes planet to planet (including Pluto) sharing your weight on this planet, and many, many, more interesting facts about each and where it is in our solar system. A must-have for all children's home libraries! A gem for fostering a love of science!

Love the informational chart in the back!

Great book with a ton of info. Got it for my 3 year old because he loves space stuff and some of it is a little much for him but he loves reading through the story itself.

I love the Magic School Bus books and so do my children. I work as a Preschool teacher and the content is perfect for them to learn how things work, etc. They love the field trips and they love to see how the class gets out of their binds. This story takes them into outer space and throughout the solar system. As always, Ms Frizzle doesn't disappoint. My class gives it an A++!
Quality soundtrack and pictures. My son continues to enjoy this audio book.
