My daughter is attracted to the puzzle pieces which shapes themselves mimick the underlying theme of each of the stories. The thickness of the puzzle pieces and foil make for durable good looking pieces with a picture guide to place the correct piece onto. She's entertained by the stories themselves as well. They're a good introduction to the stories of the Bible. Nice thick cover is also damage-proof-esque.

There was no information regarding the textual content of this book. Although it appeared to be for young children, the "fire & brimstone" text of the book make it inappropriate for young children. If I wait until my grandchildren are older and can conceptualize the text, they may be too advanced for the puzzles!

My 2 1/2 year old son will sit for a LONG time and put puzzle after puzzle together in this book. I love the fact that there is the exact picture of the puzzle underneath it so he can easily see where each piece should go. It is also fun that each puzzle has a unique shape in the center to go along with the story (a lion for "Daniel in the Lion's Den", a whale for "Jonah and the Whale", etc). The stories include: Adam & Eve, Noah & the Ark, Moses in the Bulrushes, Daniel & the Lions, Jonah & the Whale, and The Christmas Story. Very nice illustrations and stories. The pages are nice and thick too so you don't have to worry about tearing or harming them. I'm planning to get this for my 2 1/2 year old niece as well!

This is the best book we have ever spent money on. My first daughter that is now 9 and my 3 subsequent children have spent QUIET hours in church putting these puzzles together. I actually had to end up buying a new one because we wore it out. Not that it isn't made well, it is very sturdy but after hours and hours of use it started to give out. A fun variation for older children is to have them take the pieces out and put them together without the picture behind to help them. I will continue to buy and give this book for many years to come.
