Sweet Littlebug Says (My little girl's opinion, age one):
"These are great books and the main thing I love about them are the different textures. Right now I really like to put everything in my mouth and occasionally when my mom isn't looking I will lick the pages to feel the different textures. Yes, I know you think it's gross, but oh well, what can I say? I'm not even a year old yet. But I love these books and if I can, I even steal the ones from my big brother's collection."

Mom's Two Cents:
"Worth every penny. The great thing about these is that a lot of the time you can find them at a 4 for the price of 3 deal (usually on Amazon). Not only is the price great, but they are truly great books. The Turkeybird first started out with That's Not My Truck and has continued on until we have almost twelve of these titles. Now that The Turkeybird is almost three I feel he's getting to the point where he has about grown out of them, although the publisher recommends they are good until age eight. I have no doubt in my mind that they will entertain for years to come, but as for educational purposes I don't see it carrying on much past the third or fourth birthday depending on the child. Each of these books helps develop word association and the ability to differentiate between varied textures. Littlebug has been reading them now for about four months and I know will continue on for just as long as her older brother. Great books for young beginning readers!"

I like others in this series better. There are not as many "touchy" bits and more "this is shiny" or "this is a mirror" It is visual rather than touchy. I wish there were more touchy elements.
Anardred
Very cute book, fun touchy bits. This one has more shiny-look-at rather than touch parts, but still great for older babies. I liked that it also included a black mermaid.

All of these "That's not my..." books are the cutest and best little feely books we've found for our daughter. She started feeling them as a super little baby and still enjoys them at almost 2 years old.
Elildelm
One of my daughter's favorites.

If I have to read this thing one more time I'll use it as kindling.

It's too good.

Why does Usborne have to make such awesome Touchy-Feely books?!

The first "That's Not My ..." board book my 9 month old grandbaby had was "That's Not My Puppy." She loves the tactile experience with any of these books and learned quickly what and where to touch each book. At Christmas, her parents bought "That's Not My Snowman," which she loved equally as well. This one will be given to her on her first birthday and, I'm sure, it will be read over and over. We keep a basket of books that she can crawl to and pick out. These books are her favorites.

We love this whole "That's not my" series. I bought the books for my son, and my daughter, and we often give them as gifts. They are perfect for first birthday's and my 3yo and 5yo still enjoy reading them. They are well made, colorful, and the kids love the tactile stimulation on each page. I love that the books are not marketing tools for characters you see on tv, they are just good books. The kids love them. The parents love them.
My son loves this book! He really likes the different textures and seems to really like the hamster. I like that there's a hidden mouse on each page so we play a 'find the mouse' game when we're going through the book for the 100th time. It's something different and exciting for him.
