the book was a little more worn than was expecting, but with new batteries it is working & my grandchildren have enjoyed playing with it this weekend.

Sweet little book and fun to read after taking the battery out of the back. The song became irritating after the 10th time my 2-y.o. pushed the button.

My mother-in-law bought this book for my little boy while she was on a trip. He was about 10 months old at the time. This is the FIRST button he learned to press. And he loved it! He would press the button to hear the song on this book over and over and OVER. I never got annoyed with the song, as it had a nice little tune that was rather catchy. We got into the habit of singing the song to him, and he would sway to the music, he liked it so much.

This book has been through the ringer at my house! The illustrations are cute, and the story goes right along with the song. The front and back covers fell off first, then the front cover separated from the back. Finally, he managed to get the button out of the back cover so that it was free-floating. Eventually, the button broke. But I would totally buy another one! It only fell apart after a young child's constant attention; crawling over the top of, pulling on, chewing on, etc.

My only big hangup on this product at all, is that our copy advertised that you can download the song from their website. GREAT! I thought. This way I can download the song, and even after the book is destroyed, my little one can still listen to it. Unfortunately, it was not to be. I went to their website only to find a blank page. Their Facebook page hasn't been updated in months, and the message I sent to them on Facebook was never responded to. I'm guessing that they went out of business. It's frustrating not to be able to have THIS version of the song, though. The company obviously still has the domain, I wish they would at least leave up the resources that were already there for people who have bought their products previously.

So, overall, my family loves this product. We would definitely buy again, and probably will since our copy is now completely dead. Just don't expect any advertised perks. (Though if YOU have a copy of the song, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look me up and send me a copy of it! My child and this mommy will be extremely thankful!)
