It was the very first time he picked up a book on his own and wanted to read it out loud.

My kids love these books so, so much. We discovered Roddy Doyle's children's writing on vacation and brought a book home. These are funny and a little gross, but even I enjoy them.

I am a 2nd grade teacher and read this book to my students every year. They love it! We learn a lot of non American words and we also learn why adults step in dog poo. Be nice to your kids! We use the cream cracker line all year, "Isn't that interesting?!" Love this book.

Read my son`s first hard cover copy out loud so many times, I broke it and had to buy him a new one. So glad it's out on Kindle now so I don't have to worry about breaking it again!

I love Rover's adventures. Extremely funny and entertaining for anyone at any age.
My kids LOVED this book. Now they are 22 and 16 and to this day they will say it was their favorite that I ever read to them. So funny. So outrageous! Thank you Mr. Doyle for the memories made with my children.
And if you're going to read it to your kids, you must give the gigglers voices. I insist. :)
