I wish I knew who the ghostwriter was, because whoever wrote this one had something special going on, and I hope that they ended up being famous under their own name. They really deserve it. If you ever have a chance to read this, do so, you will not regret it!

With its series of laughter, fun and emotion it is the perfect book for you hopefully. It is about these two identical twin sisters Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield.

I read this book when I was a kid. I remember it as being my favorite book. Even though we are supposed to read books in school, this was the first book that I can remember reading from cover to cover. It had everything. There was adventure, excitement, and mystery. I was happy to find a copy of this book on Amazon. I'm not sure what happened to my copy from all those years ago. I plan to read it together with my daughter who is in 4th grade this year. I can't wait!

This was one of my favorite books as a child. I was so excited to find this used copy in great condition! Lovely feelings of nostalgia when I reread it! Looking forward to passing on to my niece when she's old enough!

I remembered this book as a teen and wanted to revisit it, so I bought this in my twenties. It was as I remembered and a good teen romance read.

This is one of those books that you would think I would retire. I'm almost 21, a literature major, but yet I can't part with this one Sweet Valley book. This is one of the only books I could read twice in one day and still love. I've read it so many times, and it is one of my favorite books. Unfortunately it's out of print, but fortunately I still have my copy. This is seriously one of the best books I've ever read, even though it is geared towards elementary school kids. I make a point of it to read it at least once a year. It is a magical tale... magic in the genre (which is pretty much fantasy), and magic in the way it makes me feel (all warm and tingley inside) and magic in the values it has molded upon me. Jessica and Elizabeth, the famed twins, try to (unknowingly) show off to one another for their Christmas gifts... Elizabeth writes Jessica a story about a memory that she has, and Jessica actually saves money to take Elizabeth to a concert. When Jessica doesn't appreciate the story and Elizabeth cannot make a concert, they get into a huge fight. Christmas eve, they're given two dolls that belonged to their great-aunts that contain a riddle. The twins (through a magic of some sort...) solve the riddle at the same time, and ...

This was my absolute favorite SVT book, to the point that I have now, a decade later, stolen my little sister's tattered copy because it's out of print. I wish I knew who the ghostwriter was, because whoever wrote this one had something special going on, and I hope that they ended up being famous under their own name. They really deserve it.

If you ever have a chance to read this, do so, you will not regret it! I think it could stand alone as a kid's fantasy book, even if the reader didn't read SVT.
This book is one of my favorites written by Francine Pascal. It is one of my favorites because it has lots of adventures when they were brought into the magical world.
Jessica doesn't like the present Elizabeth got her for Christmas and Elizabeth couldn't go to the concert which Jessica bought tickets for. Then they both get into a fight and when they went to sleep, they both dreamed about their doll coming alive and they enter a magical world where there are unicorns, mermaids, and lots of other magical creatures and other things. I recommend this book to the people who like reading books about fantasy.
