BSC057 - Dawn Saves the Planet - Martin, Ann . Mary Anne is our secretary.

BSC057 - Dawn Saves the Planet - Martin, Ann M. Chapter 1. "Do you think kids can save the planet?" . My friends in the BSC (Baby-sitters Club) say I'm a health food nut, just because I don't eat junk food and red meat. She keeps the club record book where we list clients' addresses, their phone numbers, and pertinent facts about their kids (like if one of them is allergic to milk, or has to be taken to piano lessons on Thursdays, or whatever). Mary Anne also uses the record book to assign each of us our jobs. Things can get pretty crazy trying to arrange baby-sitting jobs around our schedules.

That left me alone in the middle. The club started out with four members: Kristy, Mary Anne, Claudia, and Stacey. So I was super pleased when Mom and Watson agreed to let me invite a few friends along for our winter excursion to the cabin. Kristy and Mary Anne lived next door to each other on Bradford Court and Claudia lived across the street. Stacey had just moved to Stoneybrook from New York City.

From: The Baby-Sitters Club Club. Mallory has left the safe confines of the BSC to become a baby-sitting Ronin and roam the Earth with no master and no mission but her wanderings.

The Baby-Sitters Club belongs to Ann M. It's nice when high school has short takes. I enjoyed that at Stoneybrook Middle School

The Baby-Sitters Club belongs to Ann M. I was walking to school with my stepsister, Dawn Schafer, from Burnt Hill Road, where we live in Stoneybrook, Connecticut. I'm Mary Anne Spier I'm 14 and attend Stoneybrook High School for ninth grade. I enjoyed that at Stoneybrook Middle School. After they did roll calls, we were told we can go to the school library to check out for different sewing assignments. When we got there, I noticed something was wrong. I decided the best way not to get caught in the middle is to stay away.

I recently read #115 (Jessi's Big Break (The Baby-Sitters Club #115)) where Jessi stays in New York City for a month for a special ballet program. If you haven't read this book, you should, and then you will understand how Jessi's reaction makes no sense.

I also expected a better reaction from Mary Anne; however, it was certainly more sensible than Jessi's.

This scenario could have been handled much better.

It was an ok book. Nothing really out of the ordinary happened. I felt kinda bored and like it read it already.

The story Mary Anne in the Middle wasn't at all what I expected. I liked it very much, but I personally thought it would be a typical story to chach a readers eye. For example I thought Mallory would change her mind at the end of the story, she would realize what great friends she had, and everything would end happyily. Instead I read what I least expected. Mallory's mind is made up and she prepares to leave for a boarding school called Riverbend Hall. Like I said before I liked the book, but the message I got out of the story bothered me. The message clearly said that if you run away from your problems the problems would go away. Maybe Ann M. Martin will go in another direction with this but for now this plot keeps us guessing! Age 15

Poor Mary Anne! She really got stuck when Jessi and Mallory shoved her in the middle of their fight. I loved how Mary Anne insisted that the two of them work out their argument by sitting them in her living room. I also just knew Mary Anne the champion crier was going to end up in tears by the time Jessi and Mallory started growing up and talking. Mary Anne needed that good cry in the end. I hope Mallory isn't away for long; I'd miss her too like the BSC. Good Hanukkah-Christmas tale on peacemaking.
Hilarious Kangaroo
One of the best she has ever written! When Mallory decieds she might go to Riverbend boarding school Jessi is furious! Then Mallory becomes angry because she thinks that Jessi is being selfish. I really likes it because through the WHOLE book you are wondering if Mal and Jessi will make up! Will they. Will Mal stay in Stoneybrook or will she leave all she has ever known? You will have to find out in this MUST read Baby-sitters Club book!
Opilar
Poor Mary Anne! Being stuck in the middle isn't what she had in mind! With Mallory going off to Riverbend Hall the BSC is upset. Jessi is heartbroken, after all she's losing her best friend. However Jessi shows her sadnness through anger, especially since Mal concults Mary Anne first about her problems. Will Mal go away? Will Mary Anne solve the feud? You HAVE to read this book!

Mallory is having a hard time at SMS so she goes on the net and search for schools she could enroll in snd she's been accepted. But Jessi's mad that Mallory told Mary Anne first rather than her To tell you the truth this BSC book wasn't really what I expected. I expected Mallory to change her mind like any old book but she''s leaving I'll miss her like the BSC
I'm definitely excited with the new plot twist but was slightly annoyed with Jessie and Mallory. These two friends were pitted against each other in a silly squabble and it really seemed immature. I also was confused how only Mary-Ann seemed to get involved in this feud while the other me!need of the best seemed to ignore it.
