Just in time for Mother’s Day, this beautiful picture book will keep kids giggling as it celebrates the special bond between mother and child. A little boy adores his silly mom and all the funny ideas she dreams up — from wearing goofy disguises to playing the best practical joke ever! But behind all the laughs is a heartwarming message about the boundless love a mother has for her child; this is a book that families will treasure.

great book, my grandaughter bought it for her Mom for Christmas. That is all I have to say, more is not required

This book is the Americanized version of Beth Shoshan's boardbook "My Mum", which my 2-year-old grandaughter loves. The British would say, "mum", although, when I read it to my granddaughter, I read "mom". The boardbook is the perfect size for my grandaughter.

The girl in this hardcover book tells about the things she admires her mom for, everything from being an angel to magically cleaning the house, to being a collector of fine works of art. The fine works of art are, of couse, the daughter's artwork, framed on the wall. The illustrator does a charming job juxtaposing "reality" (mom and daughter walking the dog) and the daughter's idealized vision of her mom (mom and daughter dressed as a queen and a princess in a racing, horse-drawn carriage). My favorite page shows a white bubble with the girl in a bathtub, amid an undersea scene with a seal, fish, seashells, octopus, and what else, mom and daughter as mermaids. In the end, mother does what mother does best while tucking the daughter into bed. This is a sweet book celebrating mom in the eyes of her daughter.
