Like all Usborne touch and feel books, this one is fantastic.

Also like touch and feel books, make sure you're sitting with your baby because this is also great to chew on and too easy for toddler to rip parts off if they're determined.

If you or your toddlers are into construction sites this is a fabulous book. They also might find it a little boring if not because the whole book is about digging and construction.

The textures are fun and some pretty unique, so even if your baby isn't enamored with the story they'll probably still love to touch it all.

Do not pay the new price, it's insane. Use a very reputable used dealer and go for the very good or like new copies. Anything less will come with too much damage for you to feel comfortable to give to your kid.

My toddler boys love the Usborne Touchy Feely books and this one is no exception! Each page has several different textures for them to explore with the usual bright colors and simple but fun-filled illustrations that we expect from these books. As with most of these books, there aren't that many pages and I would have loved for it to have been a few pages longer but the size is perfect - bigger than a regular board book but not too heavy for my 15 month olds to handle on their own.

Great for babies and small, curious hands. Helps maintain interest in books. My son loves to turn the pages - they are very thick and substantial. He also loves the scratchy and bumpy textures in this book, as opposed to furry textures in other books.

My 2yo son is enthralled with anything construction. He loves the textures and pictures. I like that you can flip to any page and be fine (no storyline to deal with). He can sit and flip back and forth as he pleases.

My son is 9-month old and loves this book and the different textures. But it is easily prone to tear, wish they had put a better binding.
