My 10 week old seems to like having this book read to him. He also likes looking at the pictures which are simple and colorful. The one thing that bothers me a little bit is how the book seems to imply that blueberries are vegetables. Mama and Papa rabbit also appear to be somewhat cross-eyed.
The book is small enough to be held with one hand, but big enough to have nice illustrations and hold my baby's interest. I'm glad it's part of my baby's growing board-book library.

My son loves this book. He's 21 months and has it memorized. The story is very cute and simple for toddlers to follow. It promotes colors and counting. It's small in size, but easy to toss in a diaper bag for travel, etc.

Super cute book! I am using it with my kindergarten daughters who have Down Syndrome. Counting and colors are two of the skills we are trying to master this year, and this book is great for that. The pictures are bright and engaging, and the story is super cute. Now the kids want to make the vegetable soup that the baby rabbits eat.

We checked this book out from the library and my 18 month old daughter LOVED it. And it definitely helped her with counting and colors. She loved it so much that we decided it needed to be a permanent part of our home library.

Another Rabbit tale to go with Taking care of Mama Rabbit. Both beautiful and easy to read

We borrowed this book from the library and have renewed it once already, my 3 year old still wants to read it every night and has memorized it. It is a great book for numbers, colors and ordinal numbers. Deffinetly would add to home collection.
I gave this book to my 14 month old great-grandson. His parents read to him each night before bed and I felt this had some good concepts for him to have in his head before going to sleep. It keeps his attention all the way through the book.
