Activities at a birthday party for Clifford, the big red dog, provide opportunities for counting balloons, presents, and other objects from one to ten.

My grand-boys (age 4 & 7) enjoyed the story. I liked introducing them to customs of the Jewish faith. We are Christians but, I think it is important for them to know the culture and practices of the Jewish faith, after all, Jesus was Jewish.
My granddaughter loves Clifford Books and this is one of her favorites. The stories always teach children something important which I like. The illustrations are perfect and the story is very cute. I will continue to buy her Clifford Books so she will have a collection! Thank you! Frances Carol Laronga ([email protected])
We invested in several Clifford board books for when my gentle toddler was into his paperback stories and my not so gentle toddler was destroying them. This story is very much loved and has taken a lot of abuse. Well made book with a lovely story about one of our favorite dogs!
sweet for Hanukkah but seems it was written more for non Jews than for Jews. Just felt that way for me. Would be ok for either Jew or gentile but it was so simplified it would have more appeal to a non-Jewish family.
A wonderful Children's book about Hanukkah. This book is for the young child who wants to learn about the holidays.
Perfect book for my grandchildren. I like that it includes the story of Chanukah which a lot of Chanukah books do not at this reading level. Both my 5 year old and 2 year old grandchildren enjoyed it.
I bought the three Clifford books because someone had taken Clifford's Christmas from our school library. We also did not have the books about Clifford and snow and Clifford's kitten. These books are very popular with kindergarten and first graders, as well as some second graders, and are checked out each week. The children really enjoy them. I volunteer at Coyle Avenue School in Carmichael and the children in this school are in a transitional neighborhood, sometimes as many as 5 or 6 leaving the school in a week, so it was nice to find something they liked for such a reasonable price. Thank you.
Great book if you are introducing your child to the idea that not everyone celebrates Christmas. We are Jewish so it wasn’t really for us, but we did give it another child.
