My son loves Bear in Underwear but is a little too young to be left alone with the paper-paged book. This board book is perfect for him to handle on his own. Bear is such a cute character and I'm so glad to find boardbooks made for younger audiences. I just wish they hadn't jumbled 5/6, 7/8, and 9/10 together on the last three pages, I feel it makes counting a little harder. I would have liked maybe it just going to five or each number having their own page. Either way, the story is still "Dyno-mite" as Bear says.

Bear's underwear is missing so he sets out on a journey to track them down. With the help of cute little notes, he is able to find them all. He and his friends celebrate with an underwear party.

This book is cute and colorful. It helps to teach kids to count to ten in a fun way. Lilly and I also used it to look for patterns and other things while we were reading it. The bright page hold the child's attention as you read the story. This book is a great book for children between the ages of 2 and 5. It may be a simple counting book but it would also make a good first reader because of the simple page and rhymes.

Overall Lilly enjoyed this book and we give it 3½ Stars.
