Purchased this book for my 8-year old grand-niece for Christmas because of her interest in cooking/baking and love of pasta. Chose this book because it's easy to read and understand and most importantly the safety information provided for her age level.

This seems like a great book for a child interested in cooking. Most of the recipes are things we would eat, and that my 8 year old can make with a lot of assistance. We are just starting to teach him to cook, so this may be one to work toward instead of starting off with.

We got this for our 9 year old son, as he'd expressed interest in cooking. He loves it! The recipes have pictures and easy-to-follow instructions and measurements. We've made a few recipes together, with him taking the lead. Tasty and easy to make. Highly recommend this kids cookbook!

Great first cookbook. I got this for my 7 year old son. It has good recipes that are simple enough for him, yet interesting and not just simplified versions of regular recipes. It's organized well. A few treat recipes would have been good, however.

9 year old grandson has make a few of the recipes and they are pretty good. He likes to mess around in the kitchen making the entire entree. Just helping out does not appeal but making the entire item does. Pictures and helpful and directions are easy to follow.

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson and although he hasn't tried any of the recipes yet ems that the instructions, photos and general tips are going to make it easy for him to succeed. I especially liked that the recipes include foods he will want to eat. Very well put together, as one would expect from Williams-Sonoma.

This is a fun book with interesting foods for kids to cook with an adult or by themselves. My granddaughter made a cute mouse potato which their family loved. I believe that was from this book as I sent her several books. But this had easy recipes that kids could do with some adult supervision. I also got her the chef hat and apron that Amazon sells as well and she loved it and tried it out immediately. Even someone older can use the neat fun ideas of this book. Food can be fun and kids love to do fun things that people admire and think are cute. This is a good book for anyone with kids or grandkids or for gifts.
My daughter loves the book and the easy-to-follow instructions. recipes are easy and delicious, nothing fancy that will have you waste money and no one will eat.
