My Thoughts

This beautiful little book is full of color and funny pictures created by a seven year old young lady. It is obvious she is full of humor by the illustrations in this book. I think the purple cow is my favorite! This is a fun book to read to your young child, one that will make you laugh together, each page with rhymes to go with the picture. An example: `Today, I met a purple cow; I shook my head and said, "Oh Wow!"

I highly recommend this book for parents to read to their young child! And you will be amazed that the books illustrations are by a seven year old girl. I would purchase the book just for the awesome illustrations!

A COLORFUL DAY by Dr. Karen Hutchins Pirnot is a delightful book that teaches young readers different concepts at the same time. In this book Dr. Pirnot integrated colors, animals and rhyme in such a fun way that readers would want to read it over again. I like how she used expressions and words that are typically used by young children, as well as ideas that suit their young imagination! This award-winning author definitely knows how to keep the attention of her readers!

A Colorful Day by Dr. Karen Hutchins Pirnot is a wonderful book for children. The book sends an important message to young children encouraging them to use their imaginations. The pages are very colorful and the drawings are very well done!! A fun book to read. I would recommend this book.
