I purchased this book and also Funny Families. The paper on the magnets stuck together and had to rip the paper to get them apart. The magnets weren't strong enough to even stay on the page. I have received other great magnet books and am really disappointed in these two. I would not recommend these at all.
Global Progression
This book is as described and my two year old boys like it. They have a fun time putting the different magnets on the various faces in the book. The magnets are sturdy and seem like they will last. My only complaint is the plastic storage container for the magnets. It does not stay shut well. It's made of a flimsy plastic that pops open when you move the book from place to place.

I like the idea of this product and it keeps my 2 1/2 year old very entertained at church. My two complaints are 1. The magnets are not strong. They are consistently falling off the page. Whenever we turn a page to put something on another face the face parts of the first page slide off. It makes it so you can only do one face at a time. 2. The container that holds all the pieces is not well designed. It opens easily and all the parts fall out. I ended up having to get a plastic bag to hold them all. We have already lost a piece because of this.

Love these books, hours of fun with my little one :) sturdy pieces, I like the diversity of the characters (there is an African American face).

My 3yr old loves this. He takes it in his church bag for a quiet activity and his friends love it too. I like that the magnets stick to each page even when you turn them. Other similar books we have don't work that way.

My grandson has a lot of fun playing with this. Nice set. Cute and worth the money.
As long as you don't loose all the pieces, this is a great 'book' (there are no words or story) for kids to play in the car.
