I first took this book on loan from the library. After first glance I knew I needed it in my personal, permanent cookbook library. It doesn't look like much, but it's a treasure trove of recipes and info on soup. I'm an accomplished cook so not a lot impresses me, but this takes a wide array of everyday "stuff" and turns it into delicious fare. The instructions are not complicated. Excellent if you are trying to lose weight. These soups, along with crispy bread, suffice as a full meal. Excellent.

The title is not lying. So many soups! No pictures though, and that's a little disappointing (but this whole series lacks pictures so...not unexpected.) Very handy go-to soup book.
