I decided to buy a digital pressure cooker in order to save on cooking time because my life became too busy. I wasn't sure how some of my dishes would turn out and I was concerned about whether dishes would be delicious and up to my usual cooking. With this cookbook, I didn't have to worry. Everything turns out so well and is truly at the level of gourmet cooking and extraordinarilly healthy also! My husband raves about each dish and is so very happy because he claims the food tastes better than eating out and his waistline is staying the same size because of the healthy emphasis on controlled fats and sugars! If you have a digital pressure cooker, and want to whittle down your waistline by eating delicious food, then this cookbook is for you!

I'm a fan of Laura's website, so I thought I would give her cookbook a try. This book has become, not just my go-to pressure cooker book, but my go-to cookbook.

Thanks to this book, I use my pressure cooker a few times per week. (I don't cook every day.) My favorites are the Split Pea Soup (I add the optional ham), the Lentil Soup and the Winter Vegetable Medley. All three are swoon-worthy.

Every recipe has nutritional values. I'm on Weight Watchers, so I can easily calculate the points. Many recipes have tips, also.

At the back of the book, there is a section on different types of pressure cookers, plus a chart of pressure cooking times for many food items - legumes, meats, vegetables, fruits, and so on.

I love the book so much that I gave it as a gift to someone at work who has a pressure cooker. I gave a pressure cooker and this book as a Christmas gift to my sister.

If you own a pressure cooker, you can't go wrong with this book.

this is an excellent book. The publisher resisted the urge to use light grey print in this one. The charts alone are worth the book, but the recipes are laid out very well, have simple ingredients and logical directions. It was a no-brainer after buying her "Hip.." book, which also was outstanding. I got a second copy for a friend.

This is the best pressure cooker book on the market! Laura is fantastic. The book is beautiful, photos exquisite. Love that it stays open on recipe pages without my having to use can opener or whatever to hold paged down!! Recipes are fantastic and easy to follow. Highly, highly recommended.

This cook book has recipes for healthy foods... many books touting to do this, do not. The book is well organized and offers many useful cooking and organizing tips. Recipes are well detailed with instructions on the preparation.

This has a lot of recipes. My husband is allergic to chicken, turkey (fowl) so I am going to try some other kind of meat with the chicken recipes. Have already tried a few and they are yummy.

I've tried 2 recipes so far and are really good! I have to tweak the times because all pressure cookers aren't the same plus what you're using to cook with whether gas or electric makes somewhat a difference. Just as you go along using the book make notes in it.
