I've made several of these recipes and have been very pleasantly surprised by how good they taste; I particularly like the Pseudo Szechwan Ramen recipe. Another plus is that many of these recipes do not use the ramen seasoning packet for flavoring, which is great given its extremely high sodium content.

As a college student, Eric Hites learned just how far he could stretch a dollar by combining a package of ramen noodles with some odd ingredients out of his nearly bare kitchen cupboards and a little imagination. Living on a tight budget, Hites and his friends spent many nights of fun, laughter, and experimentation figuring out how they could concoct original, cheap yet tasty meals from the only food they could truly afford: ramen noodles. It later occurred to Hites that he should collect and compile the recipes he and his friends had had so much fun inventing. No exciting recipes in it. The facts are all pretty dumb. Probably a waste of money.

Ramen may just be the perfect food - cheap, filling, and tasty. This small cookbook includes 50 recipes that incorporate the noodles. The recipes run the gamut from soups to salads to stir-fries to a burrito. I've made several of these recipes and have been very pleasantly surprised by how good they taste; I particularly like the Pseudo Szechwan Ramen recipe. Another plus is that many of these recipes do not use the ramen seasoning packet for flavoring, which is great given its extremely high sodium content.

I've always liked ramen and have often made up my own recipes by adding some veggies or cheese. However, these recipes are a step beyond anything I've ever created with ramen. The only problem is that some of the recipes call for either a relatively long list of ingredients or use an ingredient that the average person is unlikely to have on hand, such as Szechwan sauce or gorgonzola. In particular, many of these recipes would not be good for the college ramen crowd, as they're not necessarily cheap.

Ignore the cutesy format, especially the lame "games," and this cookbook is a winner for ramen fans.

Very cute little book!

I've made the Chicken n' Gravy over Ramen several times (I've uploaded a pic), with salad and a side of peas it's amazing to me that 3 oz of chicken and a package of Ramen can make a great meal for two adults. Of course, pouring gravy over buttered Ramen noodles can't be healthy for you...but its so good so make sure you eat lots of veggies and fruits throughout the day to make up for it! Great fast and cheap recipes in this book.

This book is made up of a bunch of of unhealthy recipes that the author has collected from the internet. The only fun fact you need to know about ramen noodles is that they are over the top with sodium and fat and if you add the ingredients in the book's recipes you get the nutrition you deserve!
Mullador
This entire book has been plagiarised from internet sources. Steal other people's recipes and put them all in a book, and get paid, what a scam. Don't waste your money, google the recipes, or find healthier options. If you are going to buy recipe books don't pay someone who has stolen someone else's work.
Azago
Don't waste your time. A desperate attempt to make money using "borrowed" recipes and ideas. Unhealthy is as unhealthy does.
The recipes are absolutely inedible, the attempts at humor are idiotic, and it's padded with identical worksheet pages after every recipe for recording who you ate the ramen with and what it was like. It's not even clever enough to be a joke and there are no true ramen recipes at all. They just wrote weird things to throw in with instant noodle packs, like orange Pez candy to make a "citrus" flavor.
