When Valentines Collide by Adrianne Byrd was hilarious! On more than one occasion I found myself literally laughing out loud and I don't mean snickering either, I mean knee hitting, rolling over with laughter. All I have to say is When Valentines Collide - look out! The extremes this couple went to get each other back when one did some underhanded event was shocking and had me screaming "Oh No he/she didn't do that!" Yet, when Chante and Matthew decided to try and save their marriage with some yummy sexual healing they used the same passion that had been put towards fighting and turned it into an explosive event.

Ms. Byrd did an excellent job of quickly grabbing my attention from the start and held me completely engrossed and highly amused to the very end. And, although the plot flowed swiftly, it was not a rushed read. I happily bestow When Valentines Collide as a Joyfully Reviewed Recommended Read for the readers who are looking for a good laugh as well as a spectacular read.

This was like a black version of War of the Roses only better. I could tell when I started reading that this couple had a lot of love and passion for one another. I couldn't put this book down because I was curious what would happen next between Matt and Chante. An excellent, adorable love story with a little predictability. I love reading anything Adrienne Byrd writes and I ended up falling in love with the Valentines and so will you.

The story about the Valentines is a great story because it deal with issues that married couples can relate too. Chante and Matthew have been married for a while, they have gotten comfortable in their lives and it has became the same old routine, work then home. They have forgotten how to communicate with each other. Chante' good friend Edie give the a helping hand. I recommend that everyone read this book you will enjoy it a lot.

This book was a fresh change from other romance novels where boy meet girl and they fall in love. In this book you could tell that they loved one another, but were dealing with past hurt and letting pride get in the way. I was laughing out loud. Chante and Matthew are two crazy people in love. Their little acts of revenge will have you laughing and thinking OMG.

I loved this story it was funny, romantic and held a few messages. I also liked that the love scenes weren't the main focused of the story and that the female wasn't so over powered by sex that she lost all sense of herself like in some stories I have read lately.

The shenanigans of the Valentines are just too much! I was literally laughing out loud to myself while reading. The book had some steamy parts as well, but the comedy really kept it going. Great book!
War of the roses 2009, this book reminds me of the movie with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner minus Danny Devito. Very funny read and I like the ending. Keeping it HEA.
