Series: Center Point Platinum Romance. I really love how Leo’s past love and loss were treated in this book. The lows of his grieving process were explored as part of the first book in the series, so we’re not left in this book with a hero who’s still hung up on his lost love and not interested in anyone else.

However, this is not the car and Lonny has to put things right and make Joy realise that he loves her and she loves him!!!

Rancher Lonny Ellison has never known a woman like Joy Fuller. For one thing, she doesn't seem very interested in him, and as a former rodeo cowboy, Lonny's not used to that. Women mobbed the Wyoming Kid during his rodeo days! And another thing. He and Joy ? who's a schoolteacher and his sister Letty's best friend ? seem to argue constantly.

But it doesn't matter, does it? Because he's not interested in Joy, either.

Wait a minute. Maybe he is. At least, that's what Letty seems to think their arguments are all about. Yup, she might have a point there.

Now he has to convince Joy that marriage to the Wyoming Kid will be as exciting as an eight-second bull ride and as sweet as the cookies she loves to bake.

Just because Book Bub offers me an easy 99 cent easy read on Amazon doesn't mean I should take it. Couldn't get out of the first chapter. Lead character, Lonny, sputters and sputs like a foolish caricature of an crusty Curmudgeon. Wasn't expecting high literature, but jeez...

I thought this book was very cute....predictable,yes, but still very cute. I loved the constant sparing back and forth between Lonny & Joy. It made me laugh more times than not. The story started out with a bang, after Lonny and Joy's minor accident. The attractiion between these two grew more and more, no matter how these two tried to deny it. I was so happy right to the very end.

Actually there is two stories in one here. The other story I found equally as good, btween Lonny's new ranch hand, Tom, and the daughter of the man who owns the feed store.

I very disappointed with this book. The story was so simplistic that you knew exactly what would happen step by step. The characters had no depth, didn't care what happened to them. Very surprised at because Ms. Unabomber books are usually very good. Don't waste your money or time..

Debbie never disappoints and this story is no exception. Letty is determined to get her best friend, Joy and her brother, Lonny together. The only problem is that they are like oil and water and do not like each other at all. Will they change their minds as they are often thrown together at community and family events? Nicely written and the characters are people I could get to be friends with.

Sometimes you just need a good feel good romance to read. This one fits the bill. Predictable plot - boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back. But the relatable and likable characters with the happy ending provide the perfect escape from the stress of life. I'm thankful for authors who can create an enjoyable story like this.

I loved this book as I do all of her books I have read. They certainly keep your interest and I am always looking for another one. I have read a LOT of her books and enjoyed everyone of them. I hope she doesn't stop writing them. There are very few authors I enjoy as much as I do Debbie Macomber!! Thank you, Debbie.

Predictable, slow, and little enough charactar growth as to make it mostly no charactar growth. If you need a sappy feel good book that you know the ending to within the first 5 pages, this is the book for you.
Normally I enjoy her books. But the characters are boring and one dimensional. I kept hoping for the story to improve. It didn't. This one was a waste of time.
