Maggie Shayne never disappoints and this series is no exception. I read the books separately years ago and again in this boxed set when it was released. For me to read an entire series more than once is rare.

This is a great series about three powerful witches. I really liked the strong woman theme in these books but there are also some powerful, hunky men. The books flow together really well and I was really happy that I bought the box set so I could read the second and third books right away. My only tiny gripe was that there were some editing problems. I never realized how important quotation marks are! But it was just a little bit and not enough to keep me from devouring the stories.

I can't not express how much I LOVED this series. Now I'm not one who typically likes books that are set in different times, but Maggie Shayne does such an amazing job of telling the stories from one era to another and making them flow seamlessly.
I do not do reviews that give any hints or spoilers thus making my reviews seem pretty generic, but I can guarantee that if you pick this box set up (much better than getting the books one by one, so that you can go from one book to the other without having to go searching for books 2/3) you will be captivated and have a hard time putting this series down. I know that even as a mother of 2 and needing to get up at 540am during the week, I spent a few nights justifying getting only 3 hrs sleep because I could not put these books down.

These are the first "magical" books that I have read by Maggie Shayne (I have read and loved her Brown and DeLuca novels, and the Secrets of Shadow Falls series), but I will definitely be reading anything and everything by Maggie Shayne that I can get my hands on :D

I've been a fan since the first book I picked up! Maggie never disappoints, and this series is full of all the love and magic you could wish for!! Give this series a try, and then, if you're like me, pick up all the rest of her books too :) If you are a paranormal fan, you won't regret it.

I have re-read this series twice now. Both times I couldn't put any of the books down until I turned the last page. I would recommend this series or any of her other books to anyone who is looking for a good read. You will not be disappointed.

I feel as though I was so lucky to have stumbled upon this series. I would recommend these books to anyone who enjoys books of this genre. Though it was so much more than just your average witch stories. Family, friendship, life, love, loss, happiness, history. Each story in the series was wonderful in it's own right! Love that lasts through millennia. I was unable to stop reading these books. I will revisit them again. The MC's in each book, along with all secondary characters were very well written, and believable. I felt as though I was there with them in each time period. I felt their pain, I felt their happiness, worry, sadness, and their love. As I said I felt I was there, in humble cottages, or in the castle, in the woods, or standing on the cliffs with the wind whipping through my hair! It's not as often as I'd like that I get to read a book or series that is so well written that it pulls me in, and takes me there! I do not normally leave reviews, though I should. When a book or series touches me to the point I feel I have to, it is well worth the money, and time to read it. I recommend the series and this author. I feel as though anything I start reading after this series will fall very short of my expectations in a book. I believe I am going to have to leave this genre for a time, but even then I'm not sure if my next read will, or can compete with this series. Read it. You won't be sorry! Happy Reading Everyone! :)

I bought this series a week ago and so far have finished Destiny and can't wait to read the other 2 books! This book measures up to the standard of Maggie Shane, it pulls you into the story and refuses to release you from the story line, then makes you anxious to start the next in the series! It brings to life the the magic and lives of 2 sisters that lived in the past and reunite in Puritan times to another century where one sister finds the love that she has awaited and the other goes on to find her lost love. The sisters face the mob mentality of no believers and superstitiousness villagers that fear what they cannot understand.there is magic, witches, and the good vs evil storyline!! You will have to read it now that you have read my review to see for yourself !! Maggie Shane has done it again!
