Back to Madeline Island was so much fun. I loved the descriptive sentences. I could hear the leaves crunching, the waves lapping, the snow blowing, and even smell the pine trees. Jay Gilbertson has a way of making the reader feel like they are a part of the family of friends. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. com User, October 8, 2006.
