This book collects 5 novels including The Call of the Wild, White Fang, The Sea Wolf, Martin Eden, Before Adam. The 25 short stories are A Relic of the Pliocene, Trust, Thransgiving on Slav Creek, Housekeeping in the Klondike, Brown Wolf, The Son of the Wolf, In the Forests of the North, The Wisdom of the Trail, The Law of Life, The White Silence, Diable -- a Dog, Love of Life, Planchette, The League of the Old Men, A Hyperborean Brew, Nam-Bok the Unveracious, The Death of Ligoun, Li Wan the Fair, The Marriage of Lit-lit, The Lost Poacher, The Sunlanders, Where the Trail Forks, To Build a Fire, All Gold Canon, and Dutch Courage. It's impossible for any single printed book to include all or most of Jack London's works, but this book is still a good collection. In my opinion, if the book can replace Before Adam with The Iron Heel, and/or include The Star Rover, it would be a better collection.
Although the book has 837 pages but it measures 2 1/4 inch thick, which is too bulky, because the paper is not thin. Normally for a book with these many pages, it is normally less than 1.5 inch thick.
