Author of "The Patience of a Dead Man" trilogy. I absolutely love ghost stories but hadn’t read a book as good as this one in a long time. from the very beginning which makes you want to turn the pages as fast as you can. Easy to read, I loved the depth of the characters and the way the author makes you feel a mix of emotions: terrifying fear, disgust, compassion, excitement, sadness, frustration. And just when you think you know what’s going to unfold, a twist happens. Terrifying and exciting at the same time.

Sally Clark, the solicitor wrongly convicted of murdering her two baby sons, was found dead by her family at her home yesterday. Mrs Clark, 42, who served three years of a life sentence after being found guilty of smothering 11-week-old Christopher in 1996 and shaking eight-week-old Harry to death two years later, died during the night, said Sue Stapeley, a spokeswoman for the family. No cause of death was given. John Batt, a solicitor and writer who was a member of Mrs Clark's defence team and wrote a book about her ordeal, Stolen Innocence, said last night that she had never got over the deaths of her children.

Sally Clark (August 1964 – 15 March 2007) was an English solicitor who, in November 1999, became the victim of a miscarriage of justice when she was found guilty of the murder of her two infant sons. Clark's first son died in December 1996 within a few weeks of his birth. Her second son died in similar circumstances in January 1998. A month later, Clark was arrested and tried for both deaths. The defence argued that the children had died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
