Not knowing what or who to believe, she dives into the world of the Santaria faith in an attempt to get some answers on what is happening to her brother. As time goes on, the danger increases and getting the answers she seeks may prove to be fatal. Director Warris Hussein does a good job in building the suspense for the viewer and creating a frightening atmosphere to those who are not familiar with Santaria.

It's shocking watching The Possession of Joel Delaney devolve into mean-spirited nonsense in its final act. Every preceding scene brims with intriguing subtext. Perry King's escapade in what looks like a gay bar, his mommy issues, and the less than subtle insinuation that he's possessed by his male ex-lover are only a few fascinating plot details

I read this book when I was in my teens but lost my copy. I finally found it again at Amazon. The story is as mesmerizing as I remembered. I'll be searching for more books written by Ramona Stewart.

This book will make you throw out your Oija board, lock the doors, pull the blinds and never ever say, "come In" to a knock at the door. Pretty well written and suspenseful.Makes you wonder if stuff like this doesn't really happen. Only read it if you want to be scared. It sure scared me.
