John Edward Warnock (born October 6, 1940) is an American computer scientist and businessman best known as the co-founder with Charles Geschke of Adobe Systems In. the graphics and publishing software company. Warnock was President of Adobe for his first two years and chairman and CEO for his remaining sixteen years at the company. Although retired as CEO in 2000, he still co-chairs the board with Geschke.
Bob Warnock was a sailor on the deck of the submarine, United States Ship Cachalot, when the attack on Pearl Harbor began. October 24, 1912 (age 91). After witnessing a Japanese plane torpedo the nearby United States Ship Pennsylvania, he fired upon the plane with his sidearm. lieutenant was once thought that these were the first shots fired by an American in World World War II, though these were in fact fired by the crew of United States Ship Ward.
