From legendary William W. Johnstone comes an exciting new saga of the American frontier town called Fury, built smack dab in the middle of the untamed Arizona. The last thing Jason Fury wants is to lead this wagon train west to California. He just wants to head back east, where a young man like himself has a real shot at a better life. But halfway across the Oklahoma the train is attacked by Commanche, and Jedediah Fury the leader of the settlers and Jason's father, is among the dead. Format: Mass Market Paperback.

Старинная литература: Прочее. However, it was then that I changed my mind about the writing of this book. A Town Called Fury - Johnstone William. For the first few years, everyone else lived inside the town walls, whose fortresslike perimeter proved daunting to both Indians and white scofflaws, and the town itself became a regular stopover for wagon trains heading both east and west. But I’m getting ahead of myself. What concerns us here is the spring of 1871, the year that gunfighter Ezra Welk went to meet his maker. I had planned to pen it pretending to be Marshal Fury himself, using the first person narrative you had asked for.

After a Commanche attack on their wagon train leaves several settlers dead, including his father, Jason Fury takes the survivors to the Arizona Territory where, amidst Apache attacks and the untamed wilderness, they start a town called Fury, in this exciting new series. Original.

The content of the Kindle file I received was the same as the latter part of "A Town Called Fury". Perhaps I got a bonus when I ordered the first book. Amazon seemed willing to refund the purchase price.

Ever since William Johnstone died & his niece , JA Johnstone started writing his stories, they have lost there appeal. Sadly this book falls into that category. They are stories not westerns & I don't recommend this book to a true Western reader. It's not a Western...

This was a very good Book, I really enjoyed having bought this book and reading it. I have bought quite a few of this Author's books, and have enjoyed 99 percent of them. If you like reading Westerns, then you will like reading this book.

The second of a trilogy by William W. Johnstone, J.J. Johnstones uncle and mentor. Try to read A Town Called Fury first, and then follow this one up with Redemption. Good reading.

The first of a trilogy, easy and fast paced story. Followed by Hard Country (A Town Called Fury, Book 2), then Redemption. Was enjoyable even tho I read the third book first.
