Wonderful stories. I am so glad I was introduced to Mavis Gallant's writing. Read Paris Stories, another wonderful book.

Oh boy - part of me loves the author's skill in describing glamorous, unsatisfied lives - and part of me wants to run shrieking from the room, saying "I can't take these people any more!" What can I say? I loved the writer, hated the topic, and probably won't read another. But liked the author.....
