Fundamental Physics of Ferroelectrics 2002. This workshop continues an annual series held since 1990 covering the fundamental understanding of ferroelectrics and piezoelectrics using first-principles theory and experiments. Of particular interest for 2002 are the new high strain single crystal piezoelectrics, superlattices, and complex solid solutions, as well as dynamical properties of relaxors, using theory and experiment, particularly inelastic neutron scattering.

It deals with the fundamental understanding of viral iron and electromagnetic electronics using the theory of principles and experiments on a wide range of topics on the nature of electromagnets. The papers included recent developments in piezoelectric, phase transitions, alloy properties, thin films, structure and dynamics of nanoscale and polar spheres, and prediction of new materials with enhanced responses.

The four-volume set LNCS 2657, LNCS 2658, LNCS 2659, and LNCS 2660 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Third International Conference on Computational Science, ICCS 2003, held concurrently in Melbourne, Australia and in St. Petersburg, Russia in June 2003.
