This book is a good overview of many of the environmental issues facing the world and what some of the potential solutions . I actually use this book as a textbook in an upper division college level course on environmental issues.

This book is a good overview of many of the environmental issues facing the world and what some of the potential solutions are. It is written at an introductory level, but makes a lot of assumptions about the reader's level of background knowledge. During the lecture, I have to spend a fair amount of time filling in the background information that a lot of the statements in the text are based upon.
