Measurement and Instrumentation - Alan S. Morris

Measurement and Instrumentation - Alan S. Morris. Ideally, the principles of good measurement and instrumentation practice should be taught throughout the duration of engineering courses, starting at an elementary level and moving on to more advanced topics as the course progresses. With this in mind, the material contained in this book is designed both to support introductory courses in measurement and instrumentation, and also to provide in-depth coverage of advanced topics for higher-level courses.

The 13-digit and 10-digit formats both work.

TEXT BOOKS: 1. Measurement and Instrumentation Principles, by: Alan S. Morris, Butterworth- Heinemann 2. Advanced Instrumentation and Computer I/O Design, by: Patrick H. Garrett, IEEE Press. admanabhan, Springer Verlag.

'Measurement and Instrumentation Principles' is the latest edition of a successful book that introduces undergraduate students to the measurement principles and the range of sensors and instruments that are used for measuring physical variables. Completely updated to include new technologies such as smart sensors, displays and interfaces, the 3rd edition also contains plenty of worked examples and self-assessment questions (and solutions). In addition, a new chapter on safety issues focuses on the legal framework, electrical safety and failsafe designs, and the author has also concentrated on RF and optical wireless communications. Fully up-to-date and comprehensively written, this textbook is essential for all engineering undergraduates, especially those in the first two years of their course. Completely updated Includes new technologies such as smart sensors and displays

This was the textbook for my least favorite class I took in college so that probably shades my perception. It was a textbook for English (as in the country) electrical engineers with some English terminology I was not very familiar with. It also felt like it was unnecessarily complex. This book was just overall a bad experience, although I believe it was a bad application more than it was the authors fault.

Pages were not good and it seemed to be very small compared to the original book. Sorry but not satisfied.
