I am a speech-language pathologist. I am finding that using multisensory activities with my preschool and kindergarten aged children enable them to use all their senses as they learn letters and sounds. The activities are simple and well-described. I can give ideas to parents for fun home activities that do not seem like 'homework'. The sound pages are great for practicing articulation drills. Most of all my students love learning about each letter and they have quickly learned the beginnng sounds of each one.

This book is a find. It has some great craft projects for every letter of the alphabet, but the rest is only helpful if you have extra magazines around the house, to cut up. I think its worth the price.

At first glance, I thought the book looked outdated. The graphics are drawn and didn't look professional, but this book contains alot of good ideas. I find myself referring to it for different ideas to use with my students when introducing/reviewing letters of the alphabet.
