I am getting into the whole Arkham City storyline. As a non-gamer I found these collections are my best way to check out the story. I love the art/story/plot of Unhinged. Vol 2 and 3 are already on order and Vol 4 will be right behind them. I like this whole "Escape from New York" feel to the story. Already read Arkham Knight Vol 1 before I realized I was reading this thing out of order. I am slowing catching up. Like it very much so far and have now branched out to Deathstroke and the Suicide Squad as well.

Batman Arkham Unhinged is really good. The hardcover is rather nice with a great dust cover. The weird thing about this graphic novel is that it has an Xbox Live code for the Batman skins in Arkham City that you can scratch off in the back. Sort of nice, although I only own the game on PS3. It doesn't seem that they are selling a PS3 version either which is fine, that's not why I got it but in case others are then I thought I'd mention it. The stories inside the graphic novel contain many great writers and artists, one should be familiar named Paul Dini (wrote the script for both Arkham games.) The stories within Arkham Unhinged tend to be back stories to events and conversations that pop-up in Arkham City that didn't happen on that night. For instance you get the backstory of how Penguin hates the Joker and has a "No Clown's Policy" in his Iceberg Lounge. Its a great graphic novel for those who love Arkham Asylum and Arkham City and want more to their stories and any Batman fans like myself. Be forewarned that this is a part 1 of 2 graphic novel series (The next comes out in August along with a softcover version of this one). I like the hardcover and would recommend it. There are neat drawings on the hardcover. Anyways I give it five stars and Recommend it to everyone. Also if you like this I'd also recommend Batman: Arkham City the graphic novel by Paul Dini and artist Carlos D'nada if you haven't picked it up yet.

I've been meaning to check this out for awhile now, but wasn't sure if it was worth it. Since I got my Kindle Fire HD, I finally read up on the reviews and saw great things about it. And I LOVED the game. So I figured why not?
I'm glad i bought it. From my angle since i played the game, it was a great way to give some back stories. So i loved it.
I think someone who never played the game may be a bit confused but could still enjoy it.
Check it out when ya get the chance.
