Weiß Kreuz (pronounced "vice krroitz", means "white cross" in German) first started as a Japanese radio play, featuring four popular seiyuu (voice actor). The series became popular to the point where drama CDs were made, an anime and OAV were made, and eventually, the manga: An Assassin and White Shaman.
This is the story of Ran Fujimiya, a young man who is struggling to survive after the death of his parents and keep his younger sister, Aya, goes into a comatose. He soon joins a group of assassins called "Weiß", meaning "white" in German. Together, they kill the evil criminals above the law. And when they're not doing that, they're working at a flower shop called "Kitty in the House".
This series is wonderful! The art is by my favorite artist, Kyouko Tsuchiya, and the book includes color, black and white, and comments. The plot is very interesting, and I didn't mention that they have an enemy called "Schwarz" (black in German), who killed Ran's family. I highly recommend! It's a must buy!!

Wow, this is a fantastic manga. The art is very well done, the storyline interesting, and the characters fascinating.

This manga isn't for the squeamish- it is quite gory and also deals with self-mutilation, one character in particular. Hints to shounen-ai a few times.

If you don't read Japanese, I would stronly reccomend you go and learn at least a little first, otherwise you'll only be able to look at the purdy art.

I personally love this manga and own both volumes, as well as the anime, which isn't as good but I have it for the sake of having the collection.

Reccomended.
