It is so great to finally be able to read all 4 of these versions side by side. I like it better than the newer one because the newer one has the NIV instead of one of these. anyhow, I like the 4 versions in THIS publication better than the most recent parallel Bibles available.

I bought this for my 13 year old who asked to spend some of her money on a new Bible--I said I'd go half! She was interested in a couple of different versions and flipped for the idea of having 4 side by side for study etc---it's a big book to lug around but she loves it :-)

AMAZING!!! LOVE IT! I am so excited to use this at Bible Study tonight! It is big and heavy, but the pages are awesome and it lays out to where it won't close while you are trying to read it. So easy to understand too. I couldn't have made a better choice!!! LOVE IT!!! :)

I really love this bible! It is so cool to be able to check a passage written in four translations, all on the same page!! I used to carry my traditional bible translation (NIV study) and The Message version around all the time to compare verses (I often find the Message speaks to me at a deeper level than other translations), and it was cumbersome. Now I just use this one bible most of the time, and use my old study bible occasionally. The book is well constructed, and the font size is not as small as I thought it would be. Parallel bibles are a great idea, and this is the best one I have found.

Stated it was in good condition. It was held together with electrical tape and had, what appeared to be, food crumbs in it.

The book is fairly heavy, so I won't be carrying it to church with me, but it makes a wonderful study bible for understanding what a verse might mean - comparing to other versions really helps.

Great if this is the type you are looking for . The only down side is it is very stiff at first. But that's normal for a big hardcover.
