I am just now going through the book. I always enjoy a Protestant's view about Merton.
So far the book interests me. The used book price was fair too. The book is dated 70's but the purchase was worth it. The author wrote a piece about Merton's poetry in The Thomas Merton Encyclopedia from which I secured the name of the book in question. All good so far.

An astounding review of Thomas Merton as a monk and as a poet! As a Merton reader (I have many of his books), II can't tell you how much I am enjoying this book.
