Arabella Carter-Johnson is Iris Grace's mother and a professional photographer. I haven't read the entire book yet but I was drawn into the story of Arabella and her hubby and how they have arranged their lives to give Iris the best support possible. In 2008, she and her husband Peter-Jon settled in the rolling hills of Leicestershire where Arabella grew up. Arabella and Peter-Jon's daughter, Iris Grace, was born in 2009 and their lives changed forever. The best part of the book for me is the photos of Iris and Thula and the plates of Iris's beautiful paintings. The book itself is nicely constructed and feels good to hold.
