This book was in remarkable shape for its age. Not a page was defaced or torn. I enjoyed going back in time, when my uncle was one of the great jazzmen mentioned in the book. It was as stated,"A Family Album". I am proud to pass this down to my grandchildren so that they too can appreciate New Orleans Jazz.

Being a NOLA native, I was fortunate enough to inherit this particular book in mint condition. There is an older edition, but this to the best of my knowledge is the most current with additional musicians.

While one may be tempted to get this book on Kindle, you would do yourself an injustice by not getting this in hadcover. This is one book I intend to pass on to my children, as it was passed on to me.
