Sir Anthony Douglas Cragg CBE RA (born 9 April 1949) is a British sculptor. Tony Cragg was born in Liverpool. He studied art at Gloucestershire College of Arts and Technology, Cheltenham, from 1968 to 1970, and painting at the Wimbledon School of Art, London, from 1970 to 1973. The same year he went on to study sculpture at the Royal College of Art, London, completing an MA in 1977. He made the majority of his sculptures in Greece. The original design was based on Stonehenge.
